London Ward is the epitome of strength, wits and “black girl magic.” A licensed nurse by trade turned serial entrepreneur, London is on a mission to produce young black entrepreneurs through her Advanced Nail Technician course offered at Snob Nails, a Nail Salon and Nail Technology School.
London has quickly cemented her name in the beauty industry. Snob Nails has gained a huge following to match the ever-growing client base. Graduate of Ballou Cosmetology School in Washington, DC, London holds Nail Technician licensure with the District of Columbia and State of Maryland Board of Cosmetology.
Doing nails started out as a side-source of residual income. After her daughter’s diagnosis of cerebral palsy, and the father of her children suffering a traumatic brain injury, London transitioned from a full-time nurse to an entrepreneur, opening and operating one of the most successful small businesses in the state of Maryland. Today, London’s brand continues to thrive, and being a full-time entrepreneur allows her more time to spend caring for her family.
Snob Nail Salon and Nail Technology School helps produce quality, educated and skilled nail technicians. The advance training and apprenticeship courses offered have equipped 438 students with the knowledge and skills needed, resulting in them passing the Board of Cosmetology Exam.
